If you are conscious of something, you are aware of it.  Human Consciousness is a sense of one’s personal or collective identity, including the attitudes, beliefs, and sensitivities held by or considered characteristic of that individual.  According to quantum physics, consciousness is a fundamental aspect of existence but it is also independent of matter.  What this means is the human brain acts as a tool to provide information to our consciousness.  Our consciousness is what actually develops thoughts and feelings.  There is scientific proof that consciousness can exist outside the body and without the brain.  Therefore your consciousness can leave your physical body and may or may not return.  This may be what Religious people are calling the human soul and scientists are now calling another state of matter. Using science we someday should be able to explain why people see ghost, visions, out of body experiences, near death experiences and other phenomenon.  It is all part of the natural order and we just need to understand how it works.

 

People visualize God as a person but this maybe a misconception created by primitive religions.  God is not male or female; God does not have a physical body.  God is in a sence, a form of energy.  God is what scientists call the Divine Consciousness.  The Divine Consciousness is everywhere and our Human Consciousness must achieve a certain level of development to connect or to become aware of God’s presence.  When you say you believe in God, do you really believe?  If you actually really believed then you would live your life differently.  Most people who say they believe in God have never experienced God’s presence but when they do they are changed forever. The connection of consciousness between Human and Divine is made when some life altering event occurs.  That event may be brought on by deep feeling, tragedy or even death.  

 

Everything is connected including all religious and nonreligious beliefs.  All the mysteries of the universe will someday be explained.  For now we each have a small piece of the puzzle but cannot see the “Big Picture” until the pieces begin to fall together.  Each religion sees part of the big picture but do not understand it.  They then have created their own explanations and took us down the wrong path.  The evolution of the human body and the development of knowledge is a journey to the final destination.  In the end it is the merging of the Human Consciousness and the Divine Consciousness.
