Religion

Our ancestors did not have an understanding of science nor did they have access to the vast amount of information that we have today. They tried to explain things the best they could using their limited knowledge. In the process they created many different forms of religions. Men wrote the Bible, Torah, Talmud, Qur’an (Koran) and all the other so called religious books of the past.  Many of these books have taken stories from other sources based on actual events. Many have bits of truth in them but were changed to meet the needs of the religious leaders. As we trace the origins of the information, we find religious leaders have imposed their own personal beliefs into these documents in an effort to control the actions of society. Furthermore, in the process, they have created errors that would have been known if their doctrine had really been inspired or written by God.  Because of their lack of scientific knowledge, religious text should be studied for their historical content, but cannot be allowed to give false information in order to brainwash and recruit members to advance their cause. Books like the Bible can never be used as a reference as to what God says.  Most of the people who quote from it do not know where, when, or how it was written.  All people have the right to choose a religion, but before they can decide, they need all the facts.  All religions are the primitive beliefs of the ancient societies of the past and even in today’s world they keep their members by only providing them with limited information.
