Discrimination

Discrimination takes place every day.  Discrimination is the recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another. Some discrimination is lawful and even necessary but when discrimination is used to unjustly exclude people or groups from opportunities or organizations then it is necessary to create laws to prevent it.  Currently laws prevent bias or prejudice resulting in denial of opportunity, or unfair  reatment  regarding selection, promotion, or transfer. Discrimination is practiced commonly on the grounds of age, disability, ethnicity, origin, political belief, race, religion, and sex. Non-discrimination principles are part of human rights laws worldwide. Other areas of discrimination still need to be addressed.  All people are equal; no one should bowel down to another; no one should look down on another. Everyone must help each other to achieve the goals of our society. Don’t discriminate whatever our differences.
